Illinois Nut and Candy Turns 11!

It may sound cliché to say it, but time flies when you are having fun. That is certainly how it seems as I celebrate the eleventh anniversary of owning Illinois Nut & Candy.

Although it was 2004 when Melissa and I first took ownership of the candy company, it has been a labor of love that has made time pass quickly.

Our tireless work to meet our goals of being the largest Kosher and niche candy company is reflected in our recent winning of the 2015 Village of Skokie Merchant of the Year award.  On August 17h, 2015 at the Village board meeting, we were presented with a plaque and a trophy that will be on display in the store for one year.

Providing quality products has always been a priority at Illinois Nut and Candy. Our wide selection includes over 600 confections. We have dried fruit, nuts, chocolate candy creams, truffles, and bark available each day for purchase.

Don’t forget our Gluten Free, Lactose Free, Sugar Free, Organic, and Vegan Friendly varieties.

Although providing customers with delicious products prepared by expert chocolatiers is of utmost importance, we always strive for more.

The service Illinois Nut and Candy provides to its customers is also a crucial component to the success they have attained.

We worked together to offer personalized service to meet the needs of each individual customer.

We are also proud of the work we do helping our corporate clients find the perfect gift for their colleagues, clients, and vendors.

Of course corporate clients are not the only ones who are concerned with gift giving and so Illinois Nut and Candy also provides solutions for our everyday visitors as well.

With the upcoming Rosh Hashanah holiday coming up, plans are already in the works to release these scrumptious confections to the public.

Whether it be a party platter for a family get together or individual treats for the kids, there will be plenty of goodies on hand. The hard part is trying to keep from going overboard.

As Illinois Nut and Candy goes forward and enjoys another year in business, we are grateful to all of our customers for the support they have given in patronizing this store and coming back year after year. Without such a loyal client base we could not continue. Here is to another eleven years of business and beyond.

Sincerely,

David Levine
